I hope this note finds each and every one of you well. The Novel Corona Pandemic that we are presently facing has been life altering for all of us. Amid the many changes it is important to keep perspective and to remain grounded in faith, hope and love. We have always done this through community that is established on foundations of education, tradition and caring. Just because we are practicing “social distancing” does not mean that we can afford to be distant socially. So, Congregation Shuvah Yisrael is committed to continuing to provide intellectual, spiritual and social curriculum online and using accessible internet based media.
We will have weekly Shabbat worship, Talmud Torah, and Mussar Kallah using Zoom. You can access all of our upcoming events as well as our calendar through this website. Please share this with others! Every challenge is a new opportunity to reach out to others with love and help build a better world, the one God promises.
Of course, we cannot provide all of these intellectual, spiritual and social events without the partnership of our friends and extended family. First and foremost, we would love for you to join us as often as possible. We also wish to ask for your financial assistance if possible.
This has been a challenging year, but thankfully we have been sustained by the gracious and compassion of God, and also generous help of our friends. We recognize there are many good causes that place a demand on your finite resources, but I firmly believe there is no limit to God’s abundant provision.
So, would you carefully and prayerfully consider partnering with us in this unique spiritual investment as we continue to present ourselves as a testimony of Messiah Yeshua’s ongoing presence and love among the Jewish people?
